Patricia Ann Gardner

Patricia Ann Gardner, age 83, passed on December 7, 2020. She is survived by her daughter Mary (Fontanella) Marchese son-in-law Dr. John Marchese, granddaughter Isabella Marchese, and grandson Steven Depew. She was proceeded in death by her daughter Sheila Duchanick. Patricia was born in Buffalo NY on June 21, 1937 and enjoyed her career working as a nurses’ aide. She resided in Buffalo until 2003, where she retired and then moved to South Carolina to live near her daughter’s family. She enjoyed bingo, card games and spending time walking in nature, especially with her friends and granddaughter. Along with her daughter, she is survived by her brother David Folsom, sisters Kay Rasor and Sandra Siegel and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking your donations to be made to breast cancer awareness. Patricia was a proud breast cancer survivor for over 10 years. A Catholic Mass will be heard on December 20 at 10:30 in the morning at Saint Thomas the Apostle in North Charleston, SC. All are welcome to honor Patricia.
