Patricia Nation passed peacefully away on September 1, 2018 after several years of deteriorating health. She was born on May 23, 1953 in Japan while her father was stationed at an Air Force Base there. She worked several years in management at both Sweet Bay Supermarkets and Kash and Carry. She was preceded in death by her father, Lt Colonel Raymond Nation and her mother, Evelyn Nation. She is survived by her sister, Carol Sims, her niece Erika Brooks, and her great niece Kalli King-Nighswonger. Memorials may be sent to the National Heart Association.
