Patricia Lou Phelps
February 3rd, 1930 - February 4th, 2015
Patricia Pat Phelps, age 85 of Mountlake Terrace, Washington, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, peacefully and surrounded by her family. Pat was born on February 3, 1930 in Tacoma, Washington to George Stevens and Hazel Stevie Nasset. Pats early years were spent growing up in Puyallup, Washington and she later moved to Renton, Washington where she graduated from Renton High School in 1948. She met her beloved husband, Al Phelps on a blind date and they were married for 62 years until Als passing in May of 2012. Pat and Al were long time (45 years) residence of Ballard, where they raised their four children. In 1996, they downsized and moved to Mountlake Terrace to be closer to their family. Pat loved music, gardening, and she especially enjoyed cooking and serving meals to her family and friends. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Wherever she went, she didnt stay a stranger for long, as she carried on conversations and quickly made friends with everyone. She is survived by her sons Mark Phelps (Sherri), Tony Phelps (Sharon), her daughters, Pam Haldeman (Doug) and Tracy Coleman (Brady). Pat was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to Mark Phelps, Jr., Ryan Phelps, Matthew Phelps, Tiffany Haldeman Williams (Aaron), Michael Coleman, Marissa Coleman, Haley Phelps, Abigale Phelps, Henry Phelps, Chandler Phelps, Leighla Phelps, Brooklynn Williams. Pat was also a loving sister to Sally Stevens Towne and brother Jeff Nasset.
