Patricia Ann Raines

"Belchertown - Patricia A. (Rex) Raines, 74, died at home on May 18, 2017 surrounded by her family. Born November 25, 1942 in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late James and Muriel (Murphy) Rex. She was raised in the Springfield area and moved to Belchertown in 1977. Patricia worked as a manager for Mass Mutual Insurance Company for over 40 years. After her retirement, she continued to work as receptionist for Baystate Wing in Ludlow and Belchertown. She enjoyed traveling, watching her grandchildren's sporting events and shopping, especially for purses. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 52 years, Larry Raines, a daughter, Tiffany Raines of Belchertown and a sister Deborah Charow of Northampton. She also leaves her four grandchildren, Cyrus J., Owen T., Ava K., and Brenna A. Raines and her son-in-law Timothy Raines. She will also be missed by close friends, Joyce and Neil Bergstrom and Linda Canders. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m at Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the South Cemetery.
