Patricia Ann Rhone

Patricia A. Rhone passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO.

She was born July 26th, 1943, at Weld County Hospital in Greeley, CO to Orlo M. and Ethel M (Billings) Truesdell.

Pat lived on a farm during her grade school years in Peckham, CO attending Big Bend School. She graduated from Greeley High School in 1961. The summer after graduation, she was hired in the office at Meadow Gold Dairy in Greeley as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and was appointed to the position of Credit Manager in 1985. She was employed at Meadow Gold for 38 years and retired as Credit & Collection Coordinator on January 31st, 2003.

Pat married Herbert L. Sullivan on August 15th, 1964, at St. Peters Catholic Church. Later in her life, she married Donald L. Rhone on February 5th, 1994, at Kohala Coast, Hawaii.

She was recognized by the Quarter Century Club of Bordens Food (Meadow Gold Dairy) thru a testimonial presented for twenty-five years of continuous service in 1995. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed partaking in the quilting group and other various activities where needed at the church. She was an active member of NARFE.

Pat especially enjoyed preparing her fried chicken for family and friends. She enjoyed collecting rooster figurines and various designs of china plates as well as admiring cars. One of her treasured possessions was the fiddle her Maternal Grandfather played at various functions throughout the 1920's and 1930's.

Survivors include her son Sean M. Sullivan (Karen), her daughter Andrea M. Kaffenes (Harry), stepdaughter Christine A. Wilson (Wesley), stepson Timothy Rhone, stepdaughter Cynthia S. Swanson (Mike); two grandchildren, Nathan Sullivan and Rini Kaffenes, nieces Jami Shepherd and Leanne Petersen, nephew Brett Truesdell and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald LaRue Rhone, former husband Herbert L. Sullivan, brother Donald L. Truesdell, sister Marilyn J. Lesser, brother Dr. Jerry L. Truesdell, brother-in-law Harold C. Lesser, sister-in-law’s Patricia A Truesdell and Verda Mae Williams.

A Life Celebration will be held at Adamson Life Celebration Home on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, with a viewing at 1PM and services at 2PM with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley. Reception to follow at Adamson Life Celebration Home following the graveside ceremony.
