Patricia Ann Rose

Obituary Patricia Ann Rose, a Colorado Springs resident, went to her heavenly home July 23, 2022. She was born January 28, 1938, in Gillette, Wyoming to Theodore C. & Goldie M. (Todd) Wassenberg. Patricia graduated from Colorado State University in 1960 with a degree in Medical Technology. Shortly after, she married Lon Rose; they celebrated 62 wonderful years together. She worked at the Colorado State Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado as a Medical Technologist but gave up her career with the birth of her first child. She was a devoted wife and mother, enjoying cooking, sewing, teaching CCD, volunteering as a Girl Scout leader, and serving at church and schools. With gardening as one of her favorite pastimes, Patricia went on to earn a Master Gardener Certificate. Her favorite times were enjoyed with her grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her love, Lon; children Cindy (Alan) Dorflinger, Christy (Tom) Ferguson, Danny (Desirae) Rose and David (Jenny) Rose; and her grandchildren, Lisa Ferguson, David Ferguson, Michael Ferguson, Eric Dorflinger, Jason Dorflinger, Heather Rose, Heidi Rose, Joseph Rose, and Joshua Rose.
