Patricia Shaffer, 72, passed away on November 17, 2021 in Nicholasville, KY. Patricia was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on June 15, 1949 to the late Hutson and Rebecca Blackburn. She was a Registered Nurse for many years and was greatly loved by friends and family. She is survived by her son, Gregory Shaffer, Nicholasville; her sisters, Jamie Blackburn, Dexter MO, and Pam Adams, Pikeville; and her brothers, George Blackburn, Goble Blackburn, and Gary Blackburn, all of Pikeville; and her granddaughter Amanda Fay Shaffer. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband James Shaffer; son, James Daniel Shaffer; sister, Forresta Jean Johnson; half-sister, Patricia Chick; and her brother, Greg Blackburn. No services are planned at this time.
