January 9th, 1940 - March 16th, 2023
Patricia Anne Shurina passed at the age of 83. Born in New York City in 1940, she was the beloved sister of Edward (Eileen) and Jack (Dianne). She married Stephen Shurina in1962. They had five children: Anne-Marie, Tia, Stephen (Mary-Kim), John (Jennifer), and Susie. Cherished grandmother of Eric Stephen Whitley, Mark Michael Whitley, Alessandra Adele Shurina, Sam Patrick Vail, Gabriella Patricia Shurina, Mac Stephen Vail, Ryan John Shurina, Marianna Grace Shurina, and Emily Rose Shurina and the proud great-grandmother of Maeve Shurina Eastham and Frankie Shurina Eastham Patricia was exceedingly proud of her career as a registered nurse which spanned more than three decades in Labor/Delivery and Nursery unit at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan. It was there she helped bring tens of thousands of babies into the world and provided reassurance and guidance to families while lovingly caring for children during the first days of life."
