Patricia Lorraine Wadsworth Thiele passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Riverbend Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Oregon, from surgical complications. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy Wadsworth, as well as her brothers Terry and Roy and sisters Wendy and Betty. She is survived by her three children: Samantha (Stan) Bimson of Springfield, Oregon; Amy (Barry) Thiele-Jensen of New Jersey, and Ian, of Eugene. Patricia was born in Coventry, England to parents Roy and Dorothy. She moved to a tiny town called Chambersburg in the states in 1974. There she raised 3 children and was very active in their school lives as well as the community. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and traveling with them to perform at other communities. In 2001, Patricia pulled up her roots and moved out west to Oregon. She worked in management at Walmart until retiring in 2017. She loved traveling the beautiful state of Oregon, especially the coast and the wineries, and was an avid supporter of the UO Oregon Ducks. Most of all, she loved her kids and grandkids and doted on them regularly. Her absence will leave a hole in all our lives. Services are scheduled for September 4th, 2022 at 11:00 am at: Lane Memorial Gardens, 5300 West 11th, Eugene, OR 97402.
