Patricia Lou Timmerman
October 28th, 1941 - January 24th, 2014
Patricia Lou Timmerman was born October 28, 1941 and passed away January 24, 2014 at the age of 72. Pat was born in New York City, NY to Thomas & Leta Rooney. She had three siblings, Thomas, Maureen & Richard. Growing up she loved visiting her extended family in West Virginia. After some travels she moved to the Northwest where she became a longtime resident of Fircrest, WA. She leaves us with many, many memories. Many stories. Many laughs. Her cousin Dennis Laurie shared the comment "There's so much to say about the loss of such a vitally alive person, who took her licks and dished them with equal vigor, who made long-lasting friendships and enmities, and yet was mostly always loving and seeking to be understood and loved herself. She was an enigma, and an open book; always a lady, yet always with a 'reputation;' a proud mother and grandmother" She is survived by daughter Beverly Doering and son-in-law Rusty, son Jordan Timmerman and daughter in law Julie, grandchildren Leah and Austin. She was also considered a "Sister", "Aunt Pat" and "Grandma Pat" to many. Those who met her will never forget her. "My candle burns at both ends It will not last the night; But ah, my foes and oh, my friends - it gives a lovely light" The family will be hosting an informal 'Celebration Of Life' to share memories, stories and assuredly some laughs in honor of Pat on Saturday, February 1st, 2014 from 1-4pm. Friends please join us @ 7832 N. Woodworth Ave. Tacoma.
