Patricia Aileen (Prestegard) Wilder passed away March 26, 2016 in Seattle, Washington. She was born November 13, 1953 to Leslie Ole and Mildred “Darlene” Prestegard in Longview, Washington. A 31-year resident of Olympia, Washington, Patricia also lived in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Sehome High School in Bellingham, Washington, and earned a CNA from Clover Park Vocational, and cosmetologist certification from Dewitt Beauty School. She married Clifford Allen Wilder on May 11, 1973 in Oakland, California. She traveled with Cliff while he was in the U.S. Air Force for six years. She worked for the Washington State Department of Revenue. Patricia loved to laugh, and enjoyed doing anything with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved traveling and creating things by hand, including floral arranging and cake decorating. She was also in constant service to anyone in need. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Patricia is survived by her husband, Cliff; sons, Dan (Jaimie) Wilder, and Lee (Keely) Wilder; three grandchildren; brother, Michael Leslie (Jill) Prestegard; and sister, Elizebeth Louise Prestegard. She was predeceased by her son, James Allen Wilder. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to register as a donor at bethematch.org, an organization that connects patients with life-saving bone marrow donors.
