Patricia Kay Yoakum
June 1st, 1944 - November 9th, 2018
Patricia Kay Yoakum passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at home. Patty was born June 1, 1944 in Council, ID to Jerry and Marlys Quinn. She attended grade school in Riggins and Boise, graduating in 1962 from Meadows Valley High School. In 1963 Patty went to Links School of Business then went to work for Payette Lakes Medical Clinic in McCall. After working there for 41 years, she retired in 2006. Patty married Jim Yoakum on Oct. 3, 1965 and they were married for 53 years. They moved from New Meadows to Payette in 2006 residing there until her death. She is survived by her husband Jim Yoakum; sister and brother-in-law Ginger and Bud McDougal; brother and sister-in-law Randy and Patsy Quinn; sister and brother-in-law Ody and Butch Holbrook; brother Rocky Bailey; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as cousins. Patty is preceded in death by her father Jerry Quinn; mother and step-father Marlys and Otis Bailey; two nephews Troy Bailey and Jeff Yoakum; and sister-in-law Linda Bailey. Memorials may be made to the Jeff Yoakum Memorial, c/o Meadows Valley Schools, P.O. Drawer F, New Meadows, ID 83654 or Meadows Valley Cemetery, 4045 Hwy 95, New Meadows, ID 83654.
