Patricia "Pat" Zoda

Patricia Ann “Pat” Zoda Pat Zoda passed away March 31, 2011, in Centralia, Washington, after battling cancer. She was 78 years old. Pat was born March 17, 1933, in Ketchikan, Alaska, to Paul Forsyth and Edna Florence (Hart) Smith. She married Dexter “Dick” Zoda in Orting, Washington, on May 21, 1983. Pat was a retired bookkeeper, and loved spending time with her family, making hats and quilts for the less fortunate, reading (especially her bibles), and bird watching. She is survived by her husband, Dick; daughter, Jeannie (Tipsword) Evans of Ashford, WA; stepdaughters, Dixie Khbies of Federal Way, WA, and Pamela Coral of McKenna, WA; stepson, Dexter M. Zoda of Hobart, WA; sister, Merta Kiffer of Ketchikan, AK; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sonny Smith and Larry Smith; sisters, Dorothy Barnhouse and Alice Hale. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Union Gospel Mission, P.O. Box 7668, Olympia, WA 98507.
