Patrick John Griffin

Patrick John Griffin, age 47, of Gloversville passed away on November 27, 2008. He was born on April 29, 1961 in Massena, NY. Patrick is the son of Robert and Jean Griffin of Palm Bay, FL. Patrick was an avid sports fan and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his family and spent much time enjoying many family outings and activities. Patrick was loved by all of his family and friends. He will be missed and never forgotten. Patrick's wife Juanita DeVoe-Griffin and sons, Brandon and Benjamin Griffin, and children from a previous marriage, Robert, Kelly, and Elizabeth Griffin of Johnstown have so many wonderful memories of Patrick. Siblings of Patrick include a sister, Susan Mullarney Michael of Glenville, NY; two brothers Timothy Griffin Kay of Tennessee, and Scott Griffin Lori of Newton, CT. Patrick is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews, as well as his mother and father-in-law Stanley and Claudia DeVoe of Gloversville. A brother-in-law Stanley DeVoe Jr. of Gloversville also survives. Patrick was preceded in death by a brother Robert Griffin Jr. in 1978 The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday December 1, 2008 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville. A funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. with Rev. William Brower officiating. Memorial contributions in Patrick's memory can be made to Patricks family.
