Patrick H. LaBonte, 86, passed away of natural causes peacefully on April 27, 2020 at Renaissance Manor Nursing Home in Holyoke, MA. Son of the late Harold S. and Fabiola (Audet) LaBonte, he was born in Waterville, ME on March 4, 1934. Immediately following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War until his retirement after 20 years of faithful service. In his free time, Patrick loved to bird watch and was an avid bowler. Patrick will be missed by all who knew him, including his loving wife of 65 years, Carleen (Bolduc) LaBonte of Granby, MA; his sons Bruce E. LaBonte and wife Beverly of Anthem, AZ, Clint P. and Kathy LaBonte of Epsom, NH, and Kathy LaBonte-Voshol and her wife Kim, of Romulus, MI.; his 2 grandchildren, Erica Simmons of Phoenix, AZ and Bryce Sevey of Rochester, NH ; his 4 great grandchildren Garrett Sevey, Genavieve Simmons, and Elysium and Robert Partridge; as well as many extended family members and friends. Due to the events happening in our nation in relation to COVID-19, the family has decided that all services will remain private until restrictions on social gatherings are lifted. The family will have a Celebration of Life for everyone to come together to honor Patrick at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 264 Cottage St, Springfield, MA 01104.
