Died on April 16, 2013 at Our Lady of Peace Cancer Home He was born April 29, 1937 to John & Irene O'Brien, who predeceased him. He is survived by Cathie, his wife of 53 years; children Peggy Prall (Rob), Amy Turnquist (Rob), Mitzi O'Brien, Patrick O'Brien (Anne), Peter O'Brien (Diane), Andrew O'Brien (Francie), Joseph O'Brien (Heather) and Matthew O'Brien (Kristi); 33 grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers Michael, John & Thomas. He had a B.S. degree from the University of St. Thomas and a M.S. from the University of Minnesota. He was an actuary, a member of the Society of Actuaries and had a business, Actuarial Consulting Services, for 32 years. He was a strong Catholic, a happy & proud father and grandfather and a wonderful husband. He was a virtuous man of integrity. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (4/19) at 12:00 Noon at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 Margaret Street, North St. Paul with visitation one hour before the Mass. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Thanks to Our Lady of Peace Home and Dr. John Wangness.
