Memorial

Patrick Chandler O†™Donnell was born on July 4, 1979, in Boulder, Colorado, the son of Robert T. and Mary O†™Donnell, and grew up in the Denver area. He died at his home in Denver on March 1, 2016. A uniquely caring individual, Patrick found his niche in the healthcare industry. He received a certification from Pima Medical Institute in Denver, graduating with honors in 2010. He most recently worked at Fresenius Dialysis Center in Denver, where patients and co-workers respected his skills and were grateful for the compassion he demonstrated on a daily basis. Patrick was a passionate Denver Broncos fan, and attending a home game was the highlight of his year. He also enjoyed camping with friends in the mountains, accompanied by his constant companion, his beloved yellow lab Rio. Although Patrick struggled with reading as a child, he became an avid reader as an adult. He loved children, owning his own home, and hot sauce so potent that it would level a lesser man. Survivors include his immediate family: Robert T. O†™Donnell, Mary Cole, Steve Cole, Devin and Jessica Diedling and John, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. His family suggests memorial gifts to the Denver Dumb Friends League in Patrick†™s honor. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2:00 pm at the Aspen Arvada Chapel, 6370 Union St.
