Patsy Lucille Zobel

Patsy L. (Hendon) Zobel, 73 years old of Grayslake, IL passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born December 23, 1946, the daughter of the late Raymond Hendon and Mary (May) Graybeal. On October 30, 1981, Patsy married the love of her life, Gary Zobel, in Waukegan, IL. They lived in Brighton, WI for 20 years and later retired and moved to Cumberland Furnace, TN, before moving back north to Poplar Grove, IL in 2008. Following Gary's passing in January 2016, Patsy resided in Salem, WI and Twin Lakes, WI before moving to Grayslake. Patsy was retired after many successful years working at Abbott Laboratories in various roles. Patsy loved reading, crime shows, spending time with family and friends, and was an animal lover. Patsy is remembered for her zest for life, her wonderful sense of humor, caring heart, intelligence, independence and kindness. Patsy was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and cousin, and is dearly missed. Patsy is survived by her children, James (Jessica) Fincher and Kristin Zobel; her siblings Dan (Brenda) Hendon, Deborah Brimingham, Sally (Wesley) Stansbury, Jean (George) Melcher, and Shirley Hendon; her furry grandchild, Benji; her grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
