Patty W. Harrison

Harrison, Patty W., 76, of Seminole became Heaven's newest Angel Tuesday, July 12. She was born in Mattoon, IL and moved to Florida in 1972. She was a Teacher in the Illinois and Florida public schools for many years, but always stayed home to raise her own children until they were school-aged. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Seminole Ward, and had served as a Missionary, active Genealogist, and Relief Society President. She is survived by her beloved Husband Wayne Harrison, Daughters Christina Larson of Summerfield NC, Kathy Thornton and Husband Wes of Clearwater, Sheri Harrison of Seminole; Sons Keith Larson of St. Petersburg, Marc Harrison of Somerville SC, Keith Harrison of Tallahassee, and Rick Raab of Largo; Sisters Dolores Schmalhausen of Olney IL, and Madonna Walker of Charleston IL; 5 treasured Nieces and Nephews, 4 wonderful Grandchildren and 2 beautiful Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother Stella Cathcart, Father Adriel Walker, Stepmother Lavonne Walker, and Daughter Lynn Raab. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:30-7:30 at E. James Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Blvd. Funeral on Saturday July 16 at 10:00 AM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Seminole Ward, 9000 106th Ave. Seminole. Burial on Monday July 18 at 1:00 PM, Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave., Bushnell, FL.
