Paul J. Baldwin

Paul Joseph Baldwin, 62, of Edgewood, Washington, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Franciscan Hospice Home in University Place, WA. Born March 13, 1947, in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lucille (McGhee) Baldwin. Paul was raised and educated in the Washington DC area. On June 7, 1979, he married Connie Olson. Surviving are one son and three daughters, Stephen (Laurie) Barry, Wendi (Casey) Stine, Cheryl (Paul) Fortin, and Christina (Max) Carr; six grandchildren, Darle and Hunter Barry, Ella and Elijah Stine, and Joshua and Daniel Fortin; two brothers, Brian (Kathy) of Virginia and Steven (Shawn) of Virginia; his stepfather Bob Stowell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 19, 2009, at the Curnow Funeral Home, 1410 Main Street, Sumner, Washington. Arrangements in Washington are entrusted to Curnow Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Sumner, Washington. A graveside service will be held Monday April 27, 11:30 a.m. at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois. Preferred forms of memorials may be made in Paul’s name to the Morris VFW or the Franciscan Hospice Home. Arrangements in Illinois are entrusted with Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville, Illinois.
