Paul W. Bibelheimer
October 8th, 1924 - May 12th, 2011
Obituary Paul W. Bibelheimer passed away at Missouri Slope Lutheran Home on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Services will be held at Tuesday, May 17 at 12:30 PM at McCabe United Methodist Church in Bismarck, ND. Burial will be held at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be held Monday, May 16, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Paul W. Bibelheimer was born October 8, 1924, in Braddock, ND, on the family farm to Andrew and Sophia Schell Bibelheimer. After serving in the USA Navy he graduated from N.D.A.C. (NDSU) in 1949, with a B.S. in Education and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He fell in love and married Jane Greenshields on September 11, 1950. Paul started with the Equitable Life Assurance Society in April, 1949. He was a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table and also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He was a member of the Equitable "Hall of Fame," Elks Chorus, and a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge 1199. He and Jane enjoyed over 40 years at Heart Butte Dam (Lake Tschida) with their children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends and family. Paul is survived by his wife, Jane; his sons, Mark (Barbara), Fargo, ND; Ritchie (Kathy), Loveland, CO; his daughters, Joan Ekblad, and Kaye Knudson (David), both of Bismarck, ND; eight grandchildren, Kia Ullrich, Jay Bibelheimer, Michael (Amber) Bibelheimer, Andrew (Kelly) Bibelheimer, Cody and Calli Heinemeyer, Maddie (Brandt) Dockter, and Samantha Harris, and two great grandchildren, Ali and Mason Ullrich; sister, Esther Walker, Littleton, CO; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Herbert and Albert; and his sisters, Martha and Ruth.
