Paul Frederick Crotty
September 24th, 1958 - September 11th, 2010
Paul Frederick Crotty, 51, of Melbourne, passed away suddenly while on vacation on September 11, 2010. Paul was born and raised in Neptune, NJ where he graduated from St. Rose High School in Belmar. Paul later went onto college at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He has been a resident of Melbourne, for the past 20 years. Paul served his country honorably in the United States Army and was an avid golfer. Paul was predeceased by his brother Vincent Crotty, III. He is survived by his parents Vincent and Claire Crotty of Melbourne, his life partner Irene O'Donnell of Melbourne, sister, Grace A. Slattery of Columbia, MD; brothers, David Crotty (Rita) of Neptune, NJ, and Christopher Crotty (Danielle) of Gurnee, IL; sister-in-law, Marilyn Crotty; and a large extended family. Visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Homes, 4999 N. Wickham Rd. (Melbourne/Suntree) on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 7-9:00pm with a wake service to begin at 8:30. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00am at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Paul's name to The Cancer Care Center of Brevard, 1430 Pine Street Melbourne, FL 32901.
