Paul Joseph Duffy of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on November 10, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was born to Thomas and Charlotte Duffy on November 28, 1947 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Paul attended Waynesburg College and was a member of their 1966 NAIA National Championship team. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from Southern Illinois University. A long-time resident of Falls Church, Virgnia, he worked primarily in the field of marketing research, in addition to teaching at George Mason University and Johns Hopkins University. Paul is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Kelly, his son Patrick (Tina), and granddaughters Sabrina Orsi and Adriana Duffy. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Charlotte, and brother Thomas. An avid cook and baseball fan, Paul was forever proud of his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was also an accomplished racing car driver of Porsches. A private ceremony will be held November 26, 2021 in St. Petersburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. A Celebration of Life service will be held in Virginia in the months to come.
