Paul E. Finical, 92, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away September 12, 2019 at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was born May 8, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Emily Stephan; daughter, Paula and her husband, Charles E. Murphy, of Dublin, Ohio; son, Dr. Stephan J. Finical and his wife, Maryallys, of Charlotte, North Carolina; and five grandchildren, Matthew, Kathleen and her husband, Jacob DeLay, and Patrick Murphy of Columbus, Ohio, Allys Finical of Washington, D.C. and Paul M. Finical of Charlotte, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Home on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive visitors immediately following the ceremony. For those wishing to make a contribution, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mansfield Art Center, 700 Marion Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44906 or to a charity of your choice.
