"Palmer- Paul W. Grady, 82, of Palmer died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Wing Memorial Hospital. Born in Palmer, he was the son of the late Gustava (Wick) and William H. Grady. He was predeceased by two brothers William Grady, Jr. and Philip E. Grady, Sr. Paul was a WWII Veteran, serving in the Air Force as a control tower operator in England, then at Orley Field in France after the liberation of Paris. He was a 50-year member of the Thomas Lodge of Masons. Paul worked for Diamond National Co. for 20 years, and retired from the Big Y Supermarkets in 2005 after 17 years of service. He will be sadly missed by his two nieces, Sharon Lombardi of Palmer, Patricia Sawicki of Orefield, PA, his nephew Philip Grady, Jr. and many great nieces and nephews. Calling hours have been omitted and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1111 Elm St., W.Springfield, MA 01089. "
