Fall Branch, TN – Paul Gray Horton, 83, passed away joining his beloved wife, Faye H. Horton on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving daughters. Paul was born on May 24, 1937 in Sunbright, VA, a son of the late William and Ethel Horton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. Surviving are his daughters, Teresa Horton, Tammy Moore and husband Tim; granddaughter, Haley Lane and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Avery, and Jaxon Lane; step grandchildren, Jocie Stacey and husband Aaron, Michael Moore, and Blake Moore; step great-grandchildren, Ray and Sophia Stacey; special friend and sister-in-law, June Hill; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Harry Rhodes. Calling hours are from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Downtown Kingsport. Military graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN with American Legion Hammond Post 3/265 providing the honors. Pallbearers will be Harry Rhodes, Brent Cox, Frank McMahan, James Miller, Rodney Hill and Tim Moore. The family will like to extend a special thank you to Smoky Mtn. Home Health and Hospice, especially Carey Young, RN. Carter-Trent, Kingsport and Scott County Funeral Homes is serving the Horton family.
