A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Norkenzie Christian Church in Eugene for Paul Richard Lewis of Eugene, who died April 25 of age-related illnesses. He was 86.He was born June 15, 1925, in Coquille to James and Sylvia Peart Lewis. He married Phyllis Blakley on Jan. 26, 1951, in Eugene. She died June 25, 2007.He graduated from high school and served in the Navy. He worked as a truck driver for McCracken Bros. for 30 years.Survivors include a son, Thomas of Eugene; three daughters, Sharon Lewis, Valerie Lewis and Virginia Lewis, all of Eugene; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son, Michael, died in 2011 and a daughter, Patricia, died in 1973.Arrangements by Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, Eugene. Remembrances to Emerald Empire Gun Club.
