Paul “Kent” Murray, 77, returned to his heavenly home on November 14, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. Kent was born to the late Herman and Lois Murray in New Kensington, PA on January 13, 1940. He leaves his beloved wife of 52 years, Sally (Wertzberger); his sons Casey Murray (Brenda) and Michael Murray (Latoya) and his sister Ann Boniface. After graduating from New Kensington High School in 1957, he attended Penn State University, graduating in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree in History. Kent spent 30 years working in the oil industry for Sunoco. After retiring, he enjoyed working at the Palmetto County Park in Mount Pleasant, SC. A celebration of life service will be held at Seacoast Church 750 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to Seacoast Church, 750 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant SC 29464. Donations will go toward local missions.
