He then Retired from Atlas Foundry as a welder in 2004. Dad Enjoyed Camping and Fishing with family and friends. Dad will be missed for many reasons mainly for his loving "big bear" nature. He said what he meant and meant what he said , he was not one to mince words, It is for this reason that we always knew he could be trusted. Beyond that dad was found mostly with a sinister smile and a word of wit to share at any given moment. You always knew what direction he was coming from just by looking at his handsome smiling blue eyes. He was one to tell a story that sucked you in and captivated you, only to send you for a loop when it somehow ended in an unexpected joke or mystery that kept you thinking. Some of which we still don't know that true outcome too, "Thanks Dad"! Dad was a dedicated and loyal man. You knew that if you had him by your side you would always have his undying support and help. Dad was an awesome guy and will be missed deeply.
