Funeral Alternatives of Washington - Tumwater
Paul Edward Pearson
December 5th, 1956 - June 10th, 2023
Paul Edward Pearson passed away June 10, 2023, in Olympia, Washington. He was born December 5, 1956, to Ralph and June Pearson in San Mateo, California. Paul graduated from Timberline High School in 1975 and completed a machinist apprenticeship. Professionally, he was a machinist for 48 years, working for Parrot’s (Olympia), Gunderson (Tacoma), Mega Machine (Tumwater), and Capitol Machine (Tumwater). Paul and Nora Andringa were married on September 2, 1989, in Olympia. They first met when they were in second grade and reconnected in 1986. Paul was quiet with a wicked dry sense of humor. He loved Radio Control (RC) planes and was a member of Thurston County Miniature Aircraft Association. He loved boats and being on the water. He also loved cars, including old cars. He could build, fix, and repair anything; he even built the family home. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs, Sally, Oliver, Shelby, and Buttercup. Paul is survived by his wife, Nora Andringa Pearson; son, Alex Pearson; and sister, Diane Pearson. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Glen Pearson and Maury Pearson. Services will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater, WA 98501. Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
