Paul Dean Russell

Paul Dean Russell, 64, of LaSalle CO, went to be with the lord on January 3, 2022. Paul was born in Lyons, Kansas to Dallas and Juanita on June 3rd, 1957. On April 16th 1987, he married the love of his life Anita at the Greeley courthouse. They raised 3 kids together; Shannon, Eric and Melissa. Paul worked various jobs throughout his working career, among those were the tree service, and he ended his working career with the oil field. Paul had many passions and interests that included hunting, camping, fishing, tinkering, and fixing anything and everything even though it wasn’t broken. He was also known for random phone calls to his family and friends. More importantly he loved spending time with his grandkids. Paul was no stranger to anyone and he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known for his jokes that rarely made sense but left everyone laughing! He LOVED cats. Paul is survived by his wife- Anita; daughter- Shannon Sassaman, Onalaska, WI; son- Eric Dunihoo, Windsor, CO; daughter- Melissa Schofield(Jacob), Farmington, NM; daughter- April Beals(CJ), KS. Brothers- Jack Russell(Fran), NE; Jim Russell(Sharon), CO; Bill Russell(Charlotte), CO; Sister- Beverly Shanker, OK. Ten grandchildren: Kolin, Ean, Madelyn, Trenton, Trevor, Calob, Logan, Makenze, Brandi and Caid. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Dallas and Juantia Russell; siblings- Johnson Russell, Ernie Russell, Patsy Dunihoo and Nancy Hathaway; grandparents
