Paul Shaffer
January 16th, 1944 - August 25th, 2006
Paul L. Shaffer, 62, of Fonda, NY passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2006. He was born January 16, 1944, the son of the late Ellis and Bertha Shaffer. Following his education, he served in the US Air Force, and later, was employed as a laborer for the Gray Holland Moving Company. He is survived by his son, Brian Shaffer and his daughters, Terri Shaffer and Kelly Shaffer, all of Penn Yann. He is also survived by his brothers, Ellis Shaffer of Gloversville, Harry Shaffer of Fonda, Donald Shaffer of Schenectady, and David Shaffer of Johnstown, and by his sister, Evelyn Benietz of Schenectady. Also surviving is his aunt, Anna Shephard of Fort Plain and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul is predeceased by his brother Gilbert Shaffer and by his sister, Nellie Coulter. No services are currently scheduled. Funeral arrangements are by Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY.
