Paul William Sweet
March 3rd, 1938 - February 24th, 2023
Paul William Sweet passed away February 24, 2023, in Tenino, Washington, his home of 50 years. He was born March 3, 1938, graduated from Tenino High School with the Class of 1956, and attended some college classes before joining the U.S. Navy in which he served from 1957 to 1963. Paul married Janis Wilson on July 3, 1971. Professionally, he was a Grade Checker with Laborers Union 252 for 30 years. Paul was friendly and would talk to anyone. He created his own love songs to sing about his wife. He loved his life and family very much. His interests included everything math related, gardening, reading, working on puzzles, participating in outdoor activities, hunting and fishing, and playing cribbage daily with his wife. He will be greatly missed. Paul is survived by his wife, Janis D. Sweet; daughter, Patty Amador; son, Bill (Bethany) Sweet; four grandchildren; two brothers, and one sister. He was predeceased by his daughter, Terri Sweet (August 1974). Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
