A funeral will be held for Paul Wakefield, 94 of Chico on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 1:00pm at Brusie Funeral Home. Paul passed away on March 28, 2019 in Chico, California. He was born on December 5, 1924 in Hayward, California to Guy and Lucille Wakefield. Paul was married to Vivian Wakefield for 73 years. She preceded him in death. He was a family man who made beautiful birdhouses. He was also a member of Sons of Italy and the Teamsters Union. Paul is survived by his daughter Sandra Harshbarger of Chico, granddaughters Tracie Baker of Paradise and Angel Kentala of Chico, grandson Sean Kentala of Chico, as well as 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
