Paul "Dov Ben Israel" Barry Weil

Dr. Paul Barry Weil, age 72, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Paul was born February 6, 1943 in Cincinnati OH to the late Sidney and the late Betty Weil Weissenberg. Paul attended Indiana Tech and earned a PhD at UCLA in Artificial Intelligence. He was president of AEPi while attending UCLA. Paul had a career as a hi-tech engineer. He was always very involved in the synagogues and Jewish community in which he lived and served as president of Temple Beth Shalom in Valencia CA. Paul had many interests including photography, travel, the National parks, traveling in their motor home and geology. He was a member of CAD and IEEE and Temple Sinai. A loving family man, Paul is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan Weil; daughter Barbara (Jeff) Larsen; sons Philip (Sarah) Weil and Joe (Tanir) Weil; grandchildren Kara (Jason) Weil Jones, Deonna (Jessica) Weil, Logan Weil, Ariella Larsen, Eden Larsen, Nadav Weil, Itay Weil and Reese Weil ; great grandson Levi Jones.; and sister Carol (David) Fram. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Temple Sinai, 9001 Hillpointe Road, Las Vegas, NV 89134, followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
