Funeral Home. Mr. Paul Stanley Wright, Jr. age 72 a resident of Auburndale passed away on August 29, 2019 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale with his wife by his side. Mr. Wright was born Sept. 21, 1946 in Roanoke, VA. to Paul Stanley and Oberia Eugene (Ratliff) Wright, Sr. He was an Auburndale resident for over 21 years and was a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. Paul was a retired Truck Driver for 43 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Polk City. He built drag race car engines and raced them for many years at the Orlando Drag Strip. Paul enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers – Earl Maxwell Wright and Chester Thomas; 2 sisters – Jeanie Gay Reese and Carolyn Sue Custer. Paul is survived by; Wife of 21 yrs.: Priscilla Wright of Auburndale, FL. 3 Sons: Arthur D. Wright of Deltona, FL. Paul S. Wright, III of Deltona, FL Brian P. Wright of Orlando, FL. Daughter: Robyn Lynn (Brian) Hawkins of Winter Park, FL. Sister: Norma A. (Bill) Martin of Ooltewah, TN. 2 Stepdaughters: Deborah Ann (Gary) Grant of Trinity, FL. Rebecca Kay (Mark) Wold of Polk City, FL. 6 Step Grandchildren: Abagail, McKenna, Chase, Lance, Matthew & Abigail
