Paula Francis Ames Bowers, 67, of Chico, California, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 peacefully in her home, surrounded by family. Polly was born February 1, 1953, a daughter of Edward and Patricia Ames. Polly loved life to the fullest, she loved her family, her animals, her garden, shooting pool and her faith. She was a friend to all and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Rhodes. She is survived by her husband: Edward Bowers; her daughter, Jennifer Soto; her two sons, Eddie Bowers Jr. and Matthew Bowers. Her two sisters, Penny Myers and Beverly Spiker and her grandchildren: Jessica Dominguez, Bryanna Dominguez, Chloey Bowers, Sophia Bowers, Kailee Bowers, Abigail Soto, Rebekah Soto, Elisabeth Soto and Samuel Soto; and many beloved nieces, nephews, daughter-in-Law: Katie Bowers and Son-in-law: Justin Soto. A memorial service will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: Alzheimer’s Association 225 N.
