Paula Calderon
September 28th, 1941 - February 3rd, 2017
Paula Calderón was born on 09/28/1941 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the second oldest daughter to the late Leonarda Calderón De los Santos and Felix Rivera. She passed away peacefully on 02/03/2017 at the age 75 in Tacoma, WA. She joins her parents and step-father José M. Otero along with her dear brother José Luis and grandson Luisito. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by two children, Francisco and Luis Raúl, daughter-in-law Irma, two granddaughters, and siblings Aida, Iraida, José Enrique, Ana María, Nancy, Rafaela, Gladys, Milagros, Felix, Luis and Andrés along with numerous friends from church; she also leaves behind three generations of nieces and nephews that spread from her beloved Puerto Rico to the west coast, who love her and will miss her auntie complicity-behavior and friendship dearly. She enjoyed reading romantic novels, loved alphabet soup crosswords and was fantastic at cooking finger foods native from the Island! She had always a quiet attitude and no matter what life threw at her, she faced it with a drama-free approach and was constantly quick to help anyone in need without being asked, out of pure generosity. Thank you for the love and the memories, we'll miss you!
