Paula Elizabeth Royer, 54 was born in Derby, Connecticut October 17, 1962 and passed from this life February 15, 2017 in Marlborough, MA. Paula was predeceased by her father, Donald Wm. Royer, a cousin and a 2nd cousin in addition to her Uncle Lawrence Stokes of San Diego, California. She is survived by her mother, Patricia C. Stokes Royer of Winston Salem, NC and her siblings; Catherine (George) Byerly of Harrisburg, PA, Marguerite (Ronald) Royer-Parisi of Middletown, Delaware, Virginia Johnson of Winston Salem, NC, Barbara (Wayne) Henschel of Elizabethtown, PA, Nancy (Gregory) Pike of Broadbrook, CT, James (Elizabeth) Royer of Berlin, MA, Laura (TJ) Parisi of Dedham, MA. In addition, Paula is survived by her Uncle and Aunt, Frank (Gaylene) Royer of Bradenton, FL, Aunt, MaryAnn Stokes of San Diego, CA, Uncle and Aunt, Paul (Nancy) Stokes of Greensburg, PA and many cousins and friends. Paula was an avid game player, beating all at Uno and BINGO. She loved the UCONN girls basketball team, never missing a game on TV. The Patriots were her team during the season. She loved to eat out and was a special customer at her favorite restaurant. She will be remembered by all who knew her. The New England Organ Bank will share her generosity with others by utilizing her contributions. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Ruskin, FL. Interment will be in Manasota Memorial Park, Oneco, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Resident's Council Activity Fund, c/o The Reservoir, 400 Bolton St., Marlborough, MA 01752.
