Paula M. Weinstein
June 24th, 1951 - September 8th, 2014
"Paula (Holbrook) Weinstein, age 63, died peacefully at home in Brookline, MA. on Monday September 8, 2014. Born in Springfield, June 24, 1951, she was the daughter of Charles Dwight and Barbara (Thomas) Holbrook. A graduate of Palmer High School, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in English from UMASS - Boston. Her working career was spent in the field of marketing and management, most recently with Linguamatics. She has lived in Brookline since 2011, and had previously enjoyed 19 years in Northboro. Among the many things Paula loved in life were her flower garden, her family, and, most recently, her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years, Craig J. Weinstein, her children Ross and wife Louise of Brighton, and Dana Colas and husband Jeremy of Murfeesboro, TN. She also leaves her siblings John of Monson, Rachael "Mitzi" of Conway, and Arthur and his wife Pamela of Union, CT, along with nieces and nephews. Additionally, her precious grandchildren Zoe and Hudson, to whom she was lovingly known as "Mimmy", survive her. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Saturday, September 13th, at 2:00 pm at the Beers & Story Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., Palmer, MA. (Rt.20). Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the ceremony. For those wishing and to honor her, please make donations in Paula's memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to forward the Pancreatic Cancer Research efforts of Dr. Brian Wolpin.
