Pauline J. Coffey
June 16th, 1930 - June 29th, 2017
Pauline (Cook) Coffey, 87, originally from Lansing, Michigan, but called Parrish and Bradenton, Florida her home for the last 45 years. Pauline, the daughter of Martin C. Cook and Pauline Sandowsky, went to be with her Lord on June 29th, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Melton Coffey, and two sons, Randy and Mickey, as well as brothers Mike and Sherwood Cook and sisters Pearl Cook Lewis, Margaret Cook Totten, and Laura Cook Wilkins. She is survived by three loving sons, Robert (Sally) Coffey of Haslett, Michigan, along with grandchildren Rick (Tracy) Coffey of Illinois, and Randy (Kelly) Coffey of Michigan; Son Billy (Kim) Coffey of Ellenton, Florida and grandchildren Nathan (Brandy) of South Carolina, Kimberly (Dylan) of Bradenton; Son Reid (Kerrie) Coffey of Bradenton, and grandchildren Brandon & Emily of whom she has resided with the last eight years. Pauline had a total of 7 grandchildren, 3 stepgrandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. Pauline was married at the age of 17 in 1947 to William Coffey bearing five sons and employed as a homemaker, moving from Michigan to Bradenton in 1972 where she was employed at General Propeller. She also received both Realtor and Builders licenses working in the area for 24 years and retiring in 1996. A memorial service will be held at the VFW of Ellenton, Florida, at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc.
