Pauline Hull
April 14th, 1927 - July 3rd, 2015
Obituary Pauline Hull, 88, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2015 at Brookdale at Palmer Park. Pauline was born on April 14, 1927 to Henry and Elizabeth Juggert in Hastings, Nebraska. Pauline is survived by three daughters: Cynthia Hull of Colorado Springs, CO, Nancy Rhodes of Brighton, CO, and Elizabeth Ryan of Brighton, CO; and 4 grandchildren, Jaymee Dow of Kansas City, KS, Christopher Rhodes of Brighton, CO, Nathan Hull-Crew of Colorado Springs, CO and Clayton Hull-Crew of Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Hull. He passed away in March of 1985. He was the great love of her life, as she was his, and the family takes comfort in knowing that after 30 long years, they are reunited. Pauline is also survived by three sisters, Esther Meyer of Hastings, NE, Phyllis Wathen of Hastings, NE and Helen Parker of California. Pauline was a homemaker, who took her job very seriously. She sewed clothes for her children and herself. She embroidered, crocheted and knitted. She was an avid gardener of both vegetables and flowers. In the course of her lifetime, it would be hard to estimate how many pints of beans and quarts of pickles she canned - in the hundreds if not thousands! It was often said that if she dropped a bean seed on the sidewalk, it would have grown and yielded. Pauline, over the years, babysat many other children and always made her children's friends feel welcome in her home. Pauline loved the outdoors. She loved watching the birds and going for hikes. In her youth, she was a heck of a roller-skater; the only woman her daughters knew that could two-step on skates. There are no services planned at this time but if you would like to make contributions on behalf of Pauline and her family, please do so to one of the places below: Pikes Peak Hospice was tremendously supportive to both Pauline and her family during Pauline's final days, and the family is deeply grateful for all they do. (Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80906 or www.pikespeakhospice.org/aout-pphpc/about-foundation/make-a-contribution) Although Pauline was only at Brookdale at Palmer Park for a short time, the staff was wonderfully caring and attentive to her, and the family is very appreciative. They would like to give the employees/associates of Brookdale their deepest thanks. (Brookdale at Palmer Park, Associate Appreciation Fund, 2850 N. Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80917) Services Funeral Service
