Pauline Marie Lane
June 20th, 1924 - November 26th, 2011
Pauline M. ""Polly"" Lane, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011. She was born in New Bedford, MA on June 20, 1924. She was a member of the Cocoa Beach Elks Lodge #2387 and served as a member of the Board of Trustees. She was politically active with the Brevard Republican Club and the Space Coast Republican Women for many years. As a member of Our Saviour's Catholic Church, she sang and played the organ for the church choir. Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lane. She is survived by her two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Brown and Mrs. Irene Lavoie of New Bedford, MA; her daughter Joanne (Richard) Wallstedt; her son, Robert Shields; grandchildren, Brian (Michelle) Wallstedt, Donald Wallstedt and Robert Owen Shields; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Michael Wallstedt and Jesslyn Nichole Wallstedt. Calling hours will be held from 5 until 6:30pm with an Elks service at 6:30pm Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Church of Our Saviour Catholic Church in Cocoa Beach. A reception will follow the Mass at the Elks Lodge in Cocoa Beach. You may sign Polly's guestbook at www.beckman-williamson.com. She loved life, living in Cocoa Beach, and truly loved her friends and family. We love you mom.
