Pauline A. Laverdiere
July 19th, 1931 - May 18th, 2019
"Granby - Pauline A. (Foerster) Laverdiere, 87, passed away on May 18, 2019 with family by her side. The daughter of Charles Foerster and Edna (Latour) Foerster, Pauline was born July 19, 1931 in Holyoke. Pauline worked as a respiratory therapist for Holyoke Hospital. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Granby and in her leisure enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. Pauline also like to watch the Patriots play. She will be deeply missed by her children, Glenn Laverdiere of Granby, David Laverdiere and wife Janine of Chicopee, Gary Laverdiere of Conway, Karen Jarvis and husband JJ of Belchertown, many nieces and nephews and Godson, Paul Foerster. Pauline also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Beth Laverdiere, Scott Laverdiere, Jennifer Benoit and her husband Erik, and Jeffrey Laverdiere. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Laverdiere, brother, Wallace Foerster, and daughter-in-law, Carol Laverdiere. Calling hours will be from 4:00-7:00 pm. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 22nd. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m.Burial will be in the West Street Cemetery. A special thanks to Holyoke VNA and Hospice Life Care for their care and in appreciation, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to hospice at 575 Beech St, Holyoke, MA 01040."
