Pauline "Dorsey" K. Sereby

Pauline Katherine Sereby, 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, with family by her side. Born December 18, 1920 in Whitinsville, MA, she is survived by her husband of 62 years, the love of her life, Michael Sereby. Following his return from World War II, she became his beautiful bride and together, they traveled the country for his work. In 1989, they moved to Florida, settling in Melbourne and then Indialantic. Pauline devoted her life to loving and nurturing her family and friends. She was an amazing wife, an inspirational mother, and a true friend who is remembered for her giving spirit, quick humor, patience, and compassionate nature. Pauline is survived by her loving family, which includes five children, Mary O'Grady of Rochester, NY, Ellen and Richard Roy of San Antonio, TX, Michael and Teresa Sereby of Vernon, CT, Matthew and Angela Sereby of Virginia Beach, VA and Andrea and Rolf Meier of Indialantic, FL, and her grandchildren, Robert (Kathleen) Prior, Jessica (Denis) Patterson, Elizabeth and William O'Grady, Jared Roy, Joseph and Meaghan Sereby, Nicole, Steven and Erin Sereby, and Garrett Meier. Four great-grandchildren, her sister Joan Lincoln, and her cherished cousins, nieces and nephews also survive her. Pauline was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Frances Dorsey, two sisters, Mary Simonson and Elizabeth Giemza, her son, William Prior, grandson, Thomas Prior and great-grandson, Brandon Prior. At her request, services will be private. Contributions, in her memory, may be made to Health First Foundation, 1350 S. Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL 32901.
