Peggy M. Bianchi (formerly Peggy Evetts) passed in her sleep on July 26, 2019 at 84 years old. She was born in Abingdon, VA to James Walker and Lucy Jane Mitchell. She was predeceased by two husbands, Leon “Jack” Evetts and Ted A. Bianchi. Peggy is survived by her three siblings, Fred (& Janice) Mitchell, Decatur, AL; Nancy (& Earl) Fogleman, Abingdon, VA; Jane (& Ronald) Cumbow, Atkins, VA; her six children, Kermit (& Shari) Evetts of Cocoa Beach; Byron (& Ruth) Evetts of Cocoa Beach; Kevin (& Sharon Fahmy) Evetts of Aurora, CO; Eric (& Debbie) Bianchi of Irvine, CA; Dana Bianchi DeYoung of Ojai, CA; Holly Bianchi (& Don) Lazo of Kauai, HI; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Peggy tended to be married to rocket scientists, both Jack and Ted worked for General Dynamics, but always had her own careers as well. Most notably, Convention Manager at Cocoa Beach’s Ramada Inn, Registered Nurse for local legend Dr. Rudy Wells and ultimately, Owner/Operator with Ted of A1A Surfside Florist before retirement. Services will be held at Cocoa Beach Community Church on August 17 at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send flowers to a loved one and tell them that you love them.
