Peggy Ann Johnson
April 6th, 1944 - July 29th, 2018
Peggy Ann Johnson (Duffield) was born to her parents, William and Edna Duffield on April 6, 1944 in Nampa, ID. She grew up the eldest of 3 and attended Mt Diablo High School graduating in the class of 1962. She married Walter Johnson in March 28, 1992. Peggy passed away peacefully in Walnut Creek, CA on July 29th at the age of 74. Peggy is survived by her Husband of 27 years, Walter Johnson, her Daughter Tami Hummel and Husband Chris, and Granddaughter Gabriella "Ella". Her Step Son Greg Johnson and his children; Matthew, Zachary, and Melanie. Her Siblings; Linda Miner and family, Robert Duffield and family. She remained in Concord raising her daughter while being a Legal Secretary in the medical malpractice field. Peggy was a very generous soul who would give the shirt off her back for anyone. She was passionate about giving back to society and helping those who were in need. She would never pass up a trip in the RV or taking a cruise with her husband and family. She loved her crafts everything from refinishing furniture to mending clothes. Her most cherished times were with her granddaughter, Ella, who referred to her as 'Mima'. She could often be found in her garden or craft room working on her embroidery or sewing machine, making cards "just because". Peggys, Mimas, final resting place will be at Sea; in Bodega Bay, CA at Wrights Beach. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cancer Society.
