Peggy Norris Knotts

Peggy N. Knotts – Gaston – A Celebration of Life service for Peggy N. Knotts, 80, of Gaston, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington. Pastor David Spears will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to her service in the Woodridge Mausoleum Chapel. Peggy Knotts passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Frank Norris and Azilee Koon Norris. Peggy had retired from the State of South Carolina from a career in Data Processing. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be sincerely missed by all who knew her. Peggy is survived by her son, Michael Boone (Cheryl) of Gaston, SC; grandchildren, Tabatha Boone of Jacksonville, FL, Christopher Boone (Stacy) of Jacksonville, FL, Nicole Edenfield (Chris) of Swansea, SC, Joseph Boone (Lynda) of West Columbia; brother, Charles Norris of North Carolina; step-children, Frances Dimery, Alan Knotts (Sandra), Jennie Stevens; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Willow. In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband of 42 years, Fred Knotts; sisters, Audrey Farrar, Patricia Redmond; step-son, Timothy Knotts; sister-in-law, Judy Norris. The family would like to thank the staff at Opus Post-Acute Rehabilitation for their wonderful loving care.
