Warner Robins, GA: Peggy Sanders, 53, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday May 22, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Centerville United Methodist Church. Burial will be private. The Rev. Stephen Grantham will officiate. Mrs. Sanders was born in Miami, FL. She was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church where she very involved. She was a dedicated Sunday School teacher and a teacher of small children for many years. For many years she was a Paraprofessional in the school class helping with disable children. She was a past chairman of several church broads within the church. Her love was with children. One of her joys was being a Girl Scout Leader for her daughters and others. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband John Alan Sanders, daughters Sarah Elizabeth Sanders both of Warner Robins, Stephanie Joan Sanders of Tifton, Stacey Leigh Sanders of Warner Robins, grandson Caleb Scott Sanders of Warner Robins, mother Carolyn Boyd of Guyton, GA, sisters Elizabeth Lewis of Savannah, Sandra Boyd of Savannah and a brother Richard Boyd of Cochran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Centerville United Methodist Church @ 600 N. Houston Lake Rd., Centerville, GA, 31028, in memory of Mrs. Sanders. Heritage Memorial Funeral and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
