Peggy Joe Wheeler Williams, 83, of Concord, NC. Beloved daughter of the late William Glenn and Nanelle Tucker Glenn. Peggy was the retired owner of Bubble Tees of Concord. She spent most of her time enjoying her family and attending Laurel Baptist Church in Charlotte, where she was a long standing member. Peggy is survived by her son, Wayne L. Wheeler and his wife Donna of Charlotte; son, Clayton W. Wheeler Jr. and his wife Ginger of Concord, NC; daughter, Peggy W. Chadwick and her husband Homer of Pikeville, NC; and daughter, Patsy W. Anderson and her husband Don of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Peggy is preceded in death by her son David J. Wheeler and her husband's Clayton Washer Wheeler Sr. and James A. Williams. Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Laurel Baptist Church at 11801 Plaza Road Ext., Charlotte, NC 28205. Visitation will be held at the Church from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte, NC. Memorial donations in Peggy's memory may be made to The American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210 or Laurel Baptist Church.
